Over the past two weekends, teams from all over the DMV participated in DMV Live, which is an event for players to showcase their skills in front of college coaches. A variety of teams from CHSL were featured in the event. There were two separate events, below are several players from CHSL that stood out in both sessions. *We used Cerebro Sports to analyze player performances and stats (more information on how to interpret data from Cerebro can be found here).
DMV LIVE 1
Prince-Alexander Moody, Bishop McNamara ‘26
- vs Grace Brethren: 15 pt, 7 reb, 1 stl, 2 blk

- vs Archbishop Spalding: 14 pt, 7 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk
- 19th in PPG, 25th in PSP
Moody has seen his recruitment blow up, deservingly so, as Moody possesses all the tools for a high major prospect. Moody is ultra athletic and is one of the better playmakers in the event with a smooth jumper, shooting 40 percent from three in the event. Moody is only a rising Sophomore, which makes him even more coveted, and projects well at the next level. Moody should be a key contributor on one of the better teams in the WCAC this upcoming year.
Martin Somerville, Bishop McNamara ‘24

- vs Highland School: 36 pt, 6 reb, 4 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk
- 1st in PSP, 3rd in PPG, 5th in C-RAM
Washington had one of the most impressive performances in DMV Live Session 1, facing one of the top players in the area, Nate Ament, and scoring 36 points. Washington is an explosive athlete with great touch around the rim. While Washington holds multiple high major offers in football, Washington still produces at a high level on the court, averaging 24.3 points and 7.8 rebounds in DMV Live Session 1.
Caden Chinnia-Faline, John Carroll ‘25

- 15th in C-RAM, 1st in total blocks (16), T-11th in DSI, T-24th in ATR
Thomas had a difficult matchup in DMV Live Session 1, facing off against Patrick Ngongba of PVI, but Thomas did more than hold his own. Thomas had seven blocks in the game to go along with 13 points, including a couple of highlight reel dunks. While Meeks had DeMatha’s most impressive single game performance, Thomas might’ve been the most important player of the weekend for DeMatha. Thomas protected the paint and imposed his will on the other end.
Riley Jacobs, St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes ‘25

Similar to Adegbenro, Jacobs does it all for St. Stephen’s & St. Agnes. Jacobs has great length, standing at six foot eight with a long wingspan, which he used to be a dominant rim protector for the Saints. On the offensive end, Jacobs does most of his work within 15 feet and gets a lot of second chance opportunities for the Saints with his effort on the offensive glass, tallying 15 offensive rebounds in DMV Live Session 1.

- 25th in PPG, 24th in 3PE
Pickett is a bulldog on the court for Riverdale Baptist. Pickett picks up opposing guards full-court and on the offensive ends runs the show for Riverdale. Pickett is undersized but uses his strength to attack down hill. Pickett also isn’t scared to let it fly from behind the arc, shooting 14-of-36 from three in DMV Live Session 1. Pickett has played a key role in Riverdale Baptist being the 2 seed in CHSL.

Doyle Brown is a sniper from behind the arc for Fairfax Christian, shooting 52 percent from three on 23 attempts this past weekend. Brown is vital for Fairfax Christian’s success as he is able to space the floor for guys like Elijah Adegbenro and Frank Siaca Bey, who like to attack inside. Brown was able to help Fairfax pick up a big win against a new addition to their conference, Riverdale Baptist.
Aidan Able, John Carroll ‘26
- vs Flint Hill: 18 pt, 4 reb, 1 ast, 3 stl
- vs Loyola Blakefield: 31 pt, 5 reb, 1 ast, 1 stl

Johnson lived up to the billing as one of the more coveted players in the area, holding offers from Rhode Island, Norfolk State, Iona, and others, with his performance this past weekend. Johnson is a bigger guard who projects as a point guard at the next level. Johnson is smooth with his handle and can get by his defender at will sometimes. Johnson led Grace Brethren to a 3-0 record in DMV Live Session 2 with his effort on both ends.
Kobe Davis, Flint Hill ‘25
- vs John Carroll: 19 pt, 1 reb
- vs St. Maria Goretti: 24 pt, 3 reb, 1 ast, 3 stl

- 18th in SPG, 17th in PPG, 17th in C-RAM, 4th in SPG
Mannino did it all for Landon this past weekend as he was the only player to finish top 15 in scoring and top 5 in steals. Mannino has great size for his position and is elite from the mid range. Mannino should be one of the better juniors in the IAC this upcoming year.
Elijah Flowers, Potomac School ‘25
