Coming off a dominant win over Whitman, the Dragons of Glenelg Country looked to carry the momentum going into this game. The dragons started out the game with a heavy 2-2-1 zone press not giving St. John’s any room to run their offense. They were able to get consecutive buckets at the rim turning over St. Johns time and time again. 2026 Drew Harris of Glenelg was able to make it look easy using his length to get steals, easy transition dunks and stretch out the floor occasionally. Harris also showed that he can be dangerous on the open floor. Finishing the game with sixteen assists it showed that Glenelg’s chemistry was at its high today which would ultimately give them the 82-35 win over St. Johns Catholic Prep. 2026 Donavan Marshburn also joined the party going on a 10-0 scoring run on his own during the 2 nd half. Overall, this dominating performance by Glenelg Country showed that they’re one of the best teams in the MIAA. Glenelg Country also had great contributors in 2026 Jacob Williams and 2028 Shawn DuPont. Their next summer league game will be against the undefeated Clinton Grace. A team that is considered one of the best in the DMV.
