New Hope took control early against St. Charles, using their length and aggressive full-court press to force turnovers and create scoring opportunities. 2026 Isrial Braxton set the tone with seven quick points, including a dunk that energized the team. Supported by strong contributions from Uriah Augare Deal, Messiah Manning, CJ Dimbeng, and Shawn Lockhart, New Hope built a commanding 46-24 lead by halftime, wearing down the Spartans’ backcourt.
In the second half, New Hope maintained their intensity with Messiah Manning stepping up as the floor general, using his speed and ball-handling to orchestrate the offense and create open looks. Despite trailing for most of the game, St. Charles showed resilience behind standout performances from Jamari Rogers (19 points, 4 assists), Chris Queen, and Kelvin Delmar (10 points). Rogers sparked a short run to cut the deficit to fifteen, but New Hope’s depth and athleticism proved too much. Braxton, the player of the game, finished with 26 points, exploiting mismatches with his size and skill. Augare Deal added 24 points and 9 rebounds, while Dimbeng notched a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards, sealing the dominant win.
