Oxon Hill entered the tournament as a young team looking to prove itself, while Glenelg Country came in loaded with talent, including standout scorer Donovan Marshburn.

From the opening tip, Glenelg Country took control of the game. They jumped out to a seven-point lead early, with their size and athleticism overwhelming Oxon Hill. The Good Fellas struggled to generate consistent offense, and their lack of size was evident on both ends of the court.

Midway through the first half, Glenelg extended its lead to 22 points with 4:30 remaining. Their aggressive full-court press disrupted Oxon Hill’s offensive rhythm, forcing turnovers and creating easy scoring opportunities. Oxon Hill failed to get anything going offensively and looked uncomfortable throughout the half.

By halftime, Glenelg Country held a commanding 40–16 lead. The game had been one-sided to that point, and it remained to be seen if Oxon Hill could mount any sort of comeback in the second half.

To start the second half, Glenelg came out with the same intensity and quickly expanded their lead to 32 points by the 13:05 mark. Oxon Hill had no answer for Glenelg’s fast-paced offense, particularly their dominance in the paint. Even when Oxon Hill attempted a full-court press of their own, Glenelg broke it easily and continued to score efficiently.

With 3:28 left in the game, Glenelg Country led by 35 points, sealing a dominant wire-to-wire performance. They had three players finish in double figures and shot an impressive 49.2 percent from the field as a team—an exceptional mark that reflected their offensive execution.
