Fort has anchored the Tenley Tigers to a 6-1 record to start CHSL, including three wins this week. Fort does it on both ends of the court with a couple of multi block efforts this past week and averaging 22.7 points over the past three games. Fort uses his 6’6” frame to create havoc in passing lanes and protects the rim well for the Tenley Tigers, which has been one of the better teams defensively. He has proven himself to be a dominant big in this league, with an ATR score of 83, tied for eighth in CHSL.

Kye Robinson, Alexandria City ‘24

  • vs Good Fellas (Oxon Hill): 29 pt, 9 reb, 1 stl
  • vs RM: 14 pt, 2 reb, 2 blk
  • vs Severn: 26 pt, 11 reb, 3 ast, 4 stl, 1 blk

Robinson has led Alexandria City to a 4-1 record to start CHSL, impressing on both sides of the ball. Robinson is a bigger guard who uses his size advantage to create space for his jumper and attack downhill. Robinson controls the tempo of the game, averaging less than two turnovers a game and handling most of the ball handling duties for Alexandria City. He is one of the top scorers in summer league, holding a Pure Scoring Prowess rating of 97 (out of 100+), which is third in the league (min. 10 minutes/game).

Continuing his double-double streak, Tringone makes an appearance as a POTW for a second week. Currently standing at 5-1, the ‘24 wing has played a major role in Sandy Spring’s success this season. He holds a C-RAM score of 12.3 (7th in the league) and an Around The Rim (ATR) score of 88 (fifth in the league). With his post footwork and ability to grab boards, Tringone has been a force so far this summer.

  • vs Takoma Academy: 10 pt, 9 reb, 4 ast, 1 stl

While Fort may anchor the Tigers defensively, Lucas Sekasi runs the show for the Tigers on the offensive end. Sekasi is the primary ball handler for the Tenley Tigers and showcases great court vision, posting ten assists against Landon and averaging 5.8 assists over his last five games. He has the sixth highest Floor General Skills (FGS) score in CHSL, with 75, as well as the sixth highest C-RAM, at 12.4. Sekasi is a bigger guard but still shows good quickness and ball handling ability. Sekasi also has a great jumper, shooting 46.7 percent from three this past week.

Currently tied for the second seed sitting at 7-1, the Cadets have been one of the strongest teams so far this year thanks largely to offensive powerhouse Elwyne Wordlaw. Wordlaw has been one of the best scorers during this year’s summer league, sitting amongst the top 20 averages so far. The ‘24 guard holds a C-RAM score of 10.0 which qualifies him for ‘superstar’ status, according to Cerebro Sports. Never seeming fazed by his defender, Wordlaw has found success getting to his spots and knocking down tough shots off the dribble.

Parker Robinson, Good Counsel ‘26

  • vs Mt. Zion: 22 pt, 3 reb, 1 ast, 1 stl
  • vs Riverdale Baptist: 29 pt, 4 reb, 7 ast, 2 stl (10-18 FG)

Despite Good Counsel going 0-2 this week, Robinson has been a bright spot, averaging 25.5 points on 50% from the field. Against a tough Riverdale Baptist Parker put on an offensive clinic, dropping 29 points, in addition to getting his teammates involved with 7 assists. The ‘26 guard has a knack for scoring the ball and has been successful scoring at all three levels this season.

Isaiah Vick, Patriot ‘24

  • vs Potomac School: 18 pt, 9 reb, 1 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk
  • vs Flint Hill: 16 pt
  • vs Grace Brethren: 22 pt

Vick has played a huge role in the resurgence of Patriot, who have won four in a row after starting 0-4. Vick is a monster on the glass and asserts himself in the interior, showing an elite post game. Vick plays above the rim and runs the court well. Vick and Dezmond Hopkins form a nice tandem for Patriot.

Kingston Price, Severn ‘24

  • vs Clarksville: 22 pt, 7 reb, 9 ast (8-15 FG)
  • vs Alexandria City: 27 pt, 12 reb, 3 ast, 3 stl

Price helped lead Severn to their first two wins in CHSL this year, scoring 20+ points in both games. Price is a very crafty guard who can create space and score at all three levels, shooting 4-of-5 from three against Alexandria City. Price also gets his teammates involved, penetrating defense and looking to kick to his shooters, which showed against Clarksville with nine assists.
