Annapolis Area Christian was debuting their first game in summer league play against the Panthers of St. Vincent Palotti. Throughout the 1st half, it was Pallotti taking control of the pace in the 1 st half taking a lead of 21-9, with Greg Taylor scoring the early points of the game. Taylor was able to create shots and attack the basket with ease, which then opened opportunities for his teammates to hit shots. Annapolis Area Christian was able to go on a little run on their own, cutting the Panthers’ lead to eight. Pallotti was able to take a lead of 39-22 going into the second half. St. Vincent Pallotti continued their momentum by emphasizing their defense. Ultimately, Pallotti came away with the big win, which is their first in the Capitol Hoops Summer league. Greg Taylor, the former CHSL all-star, who was the player of the game, showed that he’s ready to lead his team to notable wins this coming season. Kemuel Dankyi also contributed to the 85-45 win by shooting the three at a high clip.
Overall, this win provided Pallotti with positive momentum going forward for the rest of the summer
