R.W.E Lions (Largo) vs Bullis

As Capitol Hoops Summer League continues on at Dematha, The R.W.E Lions of Largo competed against Bullis, for an exciting and talented performance. Bullis dominated the match, resulting in a 84-44 win, giving Bullis a 5-0 record so far this summer.

 

As the first half clock began, Bullis asserted their dominance that they’ve been expressing by quickly draining their first two shots, giving them a quick lead a couple minutes in. Largo worked to find their shot outside the paint and around the arch, as Bullis used their size and impressive defensive ability to force turnovers. Bullis’ Adrien Stevens(‘25) continued to showcase his playmaking ability, dominating offensively to give Bullis a 43-19 lead as the half came to an end.

 

Largo still worked to stay in the game and connect passes and compete with Bullis’ size and athleticism despite having no subs. Bullis’ quick transitioning put them up at the half, 49-25.

 

As the second half of the afternoon match up began, both teams brought effort and energy. Largo defended valiantly in a man to man defense in an effort to decrease their point deficit, as Bullis worked to maintain the game, clean up mistakes, and perform as a team. Largo struggled to connect passes as Bullis continued to dominate both offensively and defensively.

 

As the final minutes of the game came to an end, Largo did not give up their fight, as they implemented a full court press and kept the intensity. Bullis staying composed and playing smart, gave them a 40 point differential victory, and a tough 44-84 loss for Largo.
