The DMV powerhouse Bullis was facing a solid St. Charles squad, although their record was showing it in this summer league. St. Charles was led by their guard play per usual. The crafty scrapiness of the guards made it harder for the Bullis inexpierenced guards to settle in for the game. As Jamari Rogers left his imprint on the game early, getting to the basket and hitting tough shots over Bullis’ bigger guards. But as the Bullis guards began to settle into the game, it seemed like everything was just going right. With Strong drives from Kevin McClinton Jr, it always seemed like he was making the right decision, even if it was for him to score himself or find teammates like Finley Billy. Who couldn’t miss today, the well-roundedness and Size of Bullis had a once 1pt lead turn into a 15pt lead in 4 minutes. Bullis forced St. Charles into a lot of difficult shots, while they took easy open looks while getting to the line. Bullis’ newly reloaded team took care of business in the second half to secure the first win of this Capital hoops Summer League season.
